Canyon Lake Campground

Nice during the week. Weekends are crazy and people can't keep their dogs on a leash.
Free shower lots of nice campsites. Some reason lots of dead fish everywhere

Great campground!
All spots have direct access to the lake. Lots of grass for games lounging and dog walking.
Super friendly staff!
The only complaint we have is, the road noise from the popular scenic road that runs adjacent to the park.
We will absolutely be staying here again!

Great couple of days with good friends enjoying the gorgeous blue waters, watching the entertaining wildlife and great views from our campsite.
Next trip already planned d to include a dinner cruise.

Water has been up on the weekends and down. On weeknights early morning is my favorite. The Bass bite at sun up is killer. Just find some reeds and get a worm out there. Texas Jig or drop shot will get you a nice red ear sunfish or a Billy Bass . For bluegill the same Boulder is great get a bobber and set 3ft and have fun . Hope this helps
