What happened to me and my experience
i came to his office around 3 years ago with really bad twitching all over my body. i was really scared that i had ALS and was only 22. When he did a examination he said i easily passed all the tests. He told me he wanted to do more test to reassure me that everything is okay. We did an EMG, blood test. Both came back very helathy. I let the doctor know that my left shoulder arm and left leg are smaller about 1-2cm compared to right. He said this was nothing to worry about since the strength is very strong. He said i didnt have ALS but could diagnose me with BFS since it takes about 3-4 years of the same symptoms with no weakness for BFS to be diagnosed. Well it has been 3 years and 4 months and can still walk normal and work out just as i could 3 years ago. Hopefully it stays this way. Anyways i recommend this doctor, and for him doing this for 2 decades i believe he can tell very quickly when something is wrong or not.

As a medical student fortunate to work alongside him, I was able to experience this firsthand and will incorporate much of what I learned into my own practice. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know that seeks a top notch neurologist.

(August 15, 2019, 4:36 pm)I have always liked this office. Recently, I went in and AZ Neurology has all new staff. This staff was wonderful, very attentive and helped me with all my needs. I had an issue with a medication and the medical assistant did a great job at explaining. Dr. Jose De Ocampo is wonderful, very intelligent man. I have had a lot of health issues in the past, and he has helped me tremendously. I would not be in good condition today, and able to walk again if it wasn't for him.
