“I am currently in rehab stage 14 days. Dr. Firestone and his team are incredible. Everything he said was absolute, his experience and confidence transfers to the patient and his teams confidence. If he is not the best he belongs to the elite joint replacement Dr.s that are, He maintained my pain to not exceed 3-4. Completely manageable. I had DOUBLE knee replacement, was walking within hours of surgery could have left hospital in a day decided to stay two days before release from Honors hospital (great care). In three days I could actually walk without cane or walker. Bad idea, went back to walker, but went to cane after about 7 days I was just using the cane. In 14 days I am using just cane, could walk without it but am not taking any chances. Pain level has always been manageable as long as I follow directions. I was at a stage where I think I would have been in a wheel chair or crutches within a month, could not go to grocery store, walk on uneven ground, I wish I would have done it sooner. Dr. Firestone hand picks his team, from surgery team to the rehab team, all of them reflect his pride and professionalism. Have confidence, I was where you are, with both knees. Dr. Firestone was amazing, it well be as he says, and it was a fraction of what I was stressing about. When just ok is not ok talk to Dr. Firestone, I checked all the methods and Dr.s I could and decided to travel 1,500 miles just for the privilege of having Dr. Firestone and his team for my knee surgery. The big difference, he is a great surgeon, latest methods, puts the art into knee surgery and demands the best from all those associated with him. When future improvements in knee surgery take place he will be in the forefront.. Have peace of mind with Dr. Firestone.”
