I phoned the office for an appointment, the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Waited a week to get in, which wasnt bad at all. Got there 1/2 hour early to complete paperwork. His assistant Cindy took me back right on time she was very calming and kind.
Dr. Kassir came right in and put me at so much ease. I truly forgot where I was…Dr. Kassir is absolutely positively amazing…not only does he speak to you vs talking down to you, but explains everything in depth and has not only the best bedside manner but the number one colon rectal surgeon known all over the world from Minnesota said Debi, you want and need to see him, as he is the best in his field. Well that was enough for me. I am so thankful for this intelligent, kind, compassionate Dr! He truly is the absolute BEST in the field and that’s what YOU want!
I believe Dr. Kassir is the foremost robotic assisted colorectal surgeon in the valley. When I asked other doctors which Dr they would want performing surgery on them should they have colorectal cancer, it was Dr Kassir that was the most highly recommended. I chose Dr. Kassir for my surgery and it could not have gone better. He used the Davinci robotic machine and i had 5 small incisions in my abdomen and one larger 4 inch incision or so below my navel (for the section of bowel to be removed). I was up and walking (slowly) the night of the surgery and back to full exercise (basketball and weight lifting) in 30 days. In the old days this would have been 12 months recovery at least and maybe never 100%. Super happy and grateful for Dr. Kassir and his skills.
