“Smoketree Resort is an older resort owned and managed by a family. Each room opens on a large shaded green area, each with a patio and chairs. It’s a restful, quiet place to stay, and it’s our local favorite. There are refrigerators and coffee makers in the rooms, and there is a upscale grocery store nearby. Prices are significantly lower than other Scottsdale/Paradise Valley resorts or motels. It doesn’t look impressive from the road since there is a closed restaurant in the front, but once you drive around to the rooms, you find a sweet and restful retreat.”

“Nice resort style property with very reasonable prices. The suites are terrific with a kitchenette, a nice living/dining room and a large bathroom. Good for extended stays. The staff is very helpful and tries to ensure you are comfortable. Only negative was the noise from the street, which is a little disruptive when you sit on the balcony, but again you are paying a reasonable rate. The pool is well maintained, but bring the towel from your room :-)”
