“My two small children (infant/ 3's) attended McCormick Preschool. You will not find a more caring staff with a lower turnover rate amongst them in the valley. The teachers genuinely cared about my kids and embraced them. All the perks of a small/non-corporate daycare come with McCormick: flexible policies, compassion for specific/extenuating circumstances, and a tight-knit community. All the teachers and staff were familiar with my kids-- not just the teachers in their assigned rooms. It is a casual and fun environment, and I'm glad my kids got to spend so much time there. (As an added perk, It's also the best priced facility we found and there was no silly "registration" fee)”

“Raquel is great!! I’ve been seeing her for highlights and haircuts for awhile but recently started adding sewn in extensions to my hair. She takes her time and explained everything so I felt comfortable with this new beauty regiment. Before hair extensions my hair would never grow long enough and was very flat. “What a great place! The owner George is such a wonderful, kind person. Been patronizing his establishment for about 5 years now. We actually look forward to running out of water to make our visit, have some laughs and see our buddy George. As for George's yummy Thrifty Ice Cream Bar up front....Brings me back a bit to grade school days in California. I would ride my schwinn cruiser up to our local Thrifty to treat myself to a scoop or two of ice cream on a sugar cone. Sadly, to no avail on this particular beautiful sunny day, got back on my bike and the perfect scoop fell off the cone straight to the asphalt in the parking lot. Boo! So, I actually took my embarassed self back inside to the ice cream counter with the most depressed, saddened look on my face. Hoping for that one sympathetic manager that perhaps could identify, Lol! Simpler times, the manager of the store actually had the heart to kindly give me another. The reason in sharing this story, is that George reminds me in ways of that store manager back in the day. Always, genuine, giving and kind to all his customers and it really serves as a great example to all people out there that we can change a persons day in a good way and give out positive energy. Probably, live longer and healthier too... Oh, end note, pistachio ice cream or my other go to, rainbow sherbet, a must...Teehee! Thanks again George!”

“With Luke being our first baby and family living so far away, we knew we were going to need help. I called Doulas of the Valley and spoke to Debbie at the beginning of my 3rd trimester. I loved her from the start. She explained everything about the service and answered all of my questions. The service was even more than I expected. Our son arrived 2 weeks early so I was nervous that they wouldn’t have availability. I called Debbie right away and she assured me that the doula would be there. True to her word, she arrived as scheduled on our first night home. Having very little sleep in the hospital, we were thrilled to be able to string together 3 hours of sleep before I needed to breastfeed. As soon as I was finished off to bed I went for another 3 hours. I felt like a new woman and was able to start my first full day at home well rested. I can’t say enough about Doulas of the Valley.”

“The owner has been respectful and nice regarding and since adoption. There are some strict guidelines regarding adoption, and regular grooming at the location, but I understand the rescue needs to ensure on the well-being of the bird. I can sort of understand her being bit less understanding to some folks without bird experience, as it's almost normal for people to underestimate the amount of time, energy, and clean up a bird can bring. The bird hasn't been harmed by her grooming like some reviews claim on here. Not a paid review, I don't get any kick back, I just see quite a bit of harsh reviews on a place I've had a good time at, so I thought I'd weigh in.”

“I spoke with Jan a few months ago regarding a radiator. I wish I could get service like this everywhere, definitely much more helpful than most. I ultimately purchased from Napa online as there was a 20% off and free delivery deal that made the name brand radiator competitive with lower quality or possibly counterfeit units found elsewhere. But it was the helpfulness of the staff and willingness to source the part that made me choose Napa. Update: Not sure why the owner of the store feels this was not the experience they wanted me to have. If the concern is why did I buy online instead of at the store, I forgot to mention that at the time I called there was a shortage and the Denso I wanted wasn't immediately available. A week or so later it came available online with 20% discount and free delivery, saving me a long trip. I do hope this does not reflect poorly on the staff, I think they're the best. In closing, I'm completely satisfied with my experience and will shop there again. -Ken”

“Love》Love》Love this place for the supersized toys for birds with a busy beak like my family's Macaw, Harley. (also cockatoos for sure!) She's a bigtime wood chewer and chomp, chomp, chomps large toys fast at an average rate of 1 minute per/ $1 (dollar) spent if you can believe that! SO, it's nice to find larger block toys of variety at a reasonable price”
