“Dr Wamsley is down-to-earth and easygoing yet perfectly professional. She never makes any part of the process feel rushed, she truly listens, and is always calming with a positive attitude. This was my first time with acupuncture, and I didn't know what to expect. She is willing to answer questions and explains in an understandable manner. The environment of the clinic is comforting and serene. Most importantly, she is very good at what she does! My condition requires about six treatments (I just finished my 5th), and by the third session I was feeling good for the first time in at least 2–3 years. She is treating me for perimenopausal hormone imbalances, including fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, and cravings for sweets, among other minor ailments. I appreciate her conservative approach to prescribing herbals, starting basic and holding off to see if anything further may be helpful. She has helped me avoid using hormone therapy, which before seeing her I was beginning to think would be inevitable. I consulted with another acupuncturist before coming here who told me that my treatment plan would be lengthy and complex due to treating so many issues. But Dr Wamsley understood immediately that my symptoms stemmed from a larger issue, and her holistic approach meant that she was able to help me in a matter of just a few weeks, to start improving on problems that had been building in me for years.
