Shari is an angel in disguise!! I had quite a few different tastes and dietary restrictions that I would have thought no one would have been able to help with. Shari took the time to help and didn't even bat an eyelash! Everything she recommended was simply perfection!!!

They have upper Midwest black Angus that's finished with corn and grains. That makes the beef WAY more flavorful than just grass fed beef. 90 % of all beef is grass fed but then finished ( to get the marbleization associated with higher fat content) with grains. I am an old farm boy from Minnesota and that's how it's done in the upper Midwest. Less chewy too.

We were in the area, didn't really need anything, but thought we'd stop and check it out. First of all it was very clean. It's not a huge place, but had a great selection and was very organized. Everything looked great! In the fridge they had wrapped packs of Chicken Cordon Bleu. We grabbed a couple to try. They were AMAZING!! Tbh, we overcooked them, but otherwise delicious! We're gonna make this place a regular stop.

The meat cuts were very good. I ordered 5 filets and they all had a good thickness and flavor. The shop was clean and easy to find. I was surprised when the man serving me grabbed each of the filets at 30.99 a pound with bare hands and then proceeded to use the cash register without washing. He handled the cash and steaks the same way.
