“We did not end up choosing Chaparral, but really liked it. It was spotlessly clean and fully staffed (staff seemed to be everywhere). The rooms we were shown were ample, fresh and new looking (as if they'd just been painted), and sunny. Their in-house PT rooms and dining rooms, etc., also look clean, neatly organized, and just about perfect, really. Our tour host was Pasca, the marketing director, who was genuinely warm and funny and made us all feel at home immediately. I particularly noticed the change in my 94-year old father's demeanor. He went from being anxious and a bit grumpy to joking and laughing. He really liked Chaparral and we would have moved him there but he's instead moving out of state to live close to family.”

The owners/caregivers, John and Dana, have created a quality, loving family environment where individuals are treated with respect and dignity. John and Dana employ infinite patience using a never ending supply of humor which diffuses difficult behaviors and which results in smiles and laughter all around. “I have seen a lot of Orthopedic surgeon during my past 20 years of pain, and I have to say he is by far the very best. I don't need my Dr to be my friend, I just want them to be the best. When you have procedures done to your back there is always a risk no matter who does the job and the patient (or daughter in the case of Kendahl) is the one that know the risks. I took my x-rays in and they took additional x-rays in positions that made a lot more sense to me then the ones I brought in. Expecting a Dr to make a diagnosis based on someone else's x-rays are crazy, be thankful that he is thorough and knows what x-ray images he needs to better diagnose the problem. So please don't pay attention to the bad reviews because they are way off mark. Thank you Dr Waldrip for taking away my pain.”

“My grandmother has been at the Banff location for about two years. I am so grateful that my family found this group home where she is so well cared for. I have visited on multiple occasions and it is apparent how the staff care for every resident. The house is clean and tidy no matter the time of day that I visit, and the residents always get the help they need. It is a challenging decision to place an elderly loved one in any type of home or facility—not to mention a difficult transition for the individual entering the home. Paradise for Parents is the place. I am so grateful for Laura, Melanie, Miriam and Elvis for the love and care they have shown to my grandmother. It is all I could ever ask for when I live on the other side of the country.”
