I’ve been seeing her for several years, and she’s amazing. I HIGHLY recommend her. As for Marian’s review, she’s just sour grapes because more than likely her sister started getting healthy and started setting healthy boundaries for herself. Marian was probably no longer able to continue to mistreat or manipulate Marian as she had in the past. Marian’s review should by even be permitted because she wasn’t even the patient, her sister was. It would be interesting to see what her SISTER has to say about Dr. G. I’m betting it’s quite the opposite of Marian’s review.
I saw Brigitte Gourley for many , many years for depression, PTSD, ? Bipolar. If it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be here to write this review. She was calm, comforting and direct. She helped me by giving me different ways to look at things and challenged me to read and take out what pertinent information that was helpful to me. I had horrible mother and sister in laws. They didn’t like me from day one and weren’t afraid to let me know when my husband wasn’t there then they twisted it all around so this poor man had me in one ear and them in the other. We got into many big arguments. They knew no borders so Brigitte let me know that they were the ones with the problem.. It felt good to know I wasn’t the bad guy. She helped me with that a lot. She gave me clues to thwart their efforts to make me feel bad and taught me to stand up for myself and set boundaries and let them know their behavior was out of line.
There came a time in my life that I was dealing with pain in my neck ,shoulder and backchat was agonizing so she helped me with that as well. I had been on heavy duty narcotics by prescription only and after 15 years I decided it was time to come off them and I began to have some behavioral problems and wasn’t making very good decisions. We ended up parting ways but I was able to use the techniques that she taught me over the years
and am living or should I say was living my life the way I was supposed to be doing until my husband died unexpectedly. We’ll see how things go.
I would definitely rave about her. She is a wonderful psychologist 👩⚕️ who works with adults and children. She’s a gem!

When I was a little girl I used to see her all the time. This woman saved my life I was an absolute mess, my OCD had taken over my life and I couldn't function, I was angry, hurting, and felt absolutely hopeless. Dr. Gourley used to sit in the room with different types of stickers and would talk to me while I played with them she would tell me what was going on with me even though I was just a little child and help me to understand what was happening. Do her patience perseperseveranc and highly intelligent decisions and techniques I learned to deal with it. I am now 27 year old woman completely functioning I've been off medication for almost 10 years living an absolutely normal life.
