As well as desserts/pastries. Finally, not to forget all their awesome looking Carnes. Quick visit. Figured I'd pick up their corn tortillas and one of my favorites Buñuelos (Mexican Fritters). Due to the holiday, COVID, and road construction, it was slow. I certainly didn't mind! Check them out. Btw...clean environment...no flies...great air circulation.”

BUT I was super disappointed when it came to the sweet ones such as the cheesecake raspberry ones because I expected them to be filled in the middle but there was no cheesecake filing. There was only a little dollop of cheesecake filling on top of the bread and a dollop of raspberry jelly on it. It would have been fine but there was hardly anything on it so it really just tasted like you were eating bread. But like I said, the savory ones are good! I'd go back for the savory ones when the wait isn't so long (they only just opened back up so waiting is to be expected).”

“This review is a little late, but Grace baked my assorted cupcakes and personal cake for my wedding last year. The main attraction for us was that our caterer (Lena's Catering and Events) works with Grace and so was able to deliver the cake/cupcakes with the food to our venue 2 hours away (so only one delivery fee, which was great!). My husband and I went to the tasting where we tried so many amazing, unique cake flavors! Grace and her husband were both so nice and professional. We were able to pick 4 different cupcake flavors for our order of 100 so that our guests had some real choices. Let me tell you, they were a hit! I got so many comments about how delicious and moist they were (for every unique cake flavor/filling/frosting). The personal cake we ordered was so delicious, and the cherry on top was the anniversary cake that she provides so that we could have some of our delicious wedding cake on our first anniversary without eating cake from the freezer.”

Well, I am here to tell you everything mentioned about this place is right on, JL is absolutely the best bakery in town. I am a private chef and when my clients are looking for desserts there is no other place that I recommend. The flourless chocolate cake is truly the stuff dreams are made of but everything they make here is top notch and made with very high-quality ingredients. The flavor and texture of everything is as good as it gets and then of course when you look at the products they are as beautiful as they are tasty, you cannot go wrong here. Small artisanal businesses like this have struggled in this area for years replaced by big box stores offering inexpensive or rather cheap mass produced everything.
