“My first time to the Porch and it was amazing! Lauren was our server and she was so sweet & helpful. The pretzel appetizer was divine and our meals were delicious. It’s a beautiful space & very comfortable whether chair, booth, or bar. The patio is adorable & they have misting systems to make it comfortable. We’ll definitely be going back. “Great club, good crowd and great music. Great club find with a great live band, fast bar, and good drinks. Went in on a Friday night and it was LIVE for sure. No line so that was nice and it was kinda late. Noticed they have some food outside, but they do not have an in-house menu...no big deal on that one but nice to know they have some food close by! Great band playing funk, r&b, and some rap covers. Really good actually and they keep the energy all night! The drinks are strong and the bartenders are paying attention. It was good to get on a dance floor again and plenty of opportunity out here! See you out there!”

She is also agreeable when asked to change the TV channel. The only reason I didn't give this bar a 5 rating, is all the screens were tuned to a propaganda network that supports a 5 time draft dodger that wears orange pancake makeup and NEVER delivered the "tremendous" health care package that he kept saying he will show you "in 2 weeks"”

“Great atmosphere, great bar tender who’s very friendly and explained everything to us newbies. We had the strong Kava one, Punch in the face. As a sober person of 3.5 yrs, I was a little taken back by the body high and will likely do a less strong dose next time but the body high wore off in about an hour. Very relaxing, definitely eased the anxiety and tension of our party who were mourning the 5th anniversary loss of a loved one. We enjoyed the experience and atmosphere.”

But the inside is charming. Reasonably priced given the food and service. Good for a date night or special occasion though the tables are close together. Scallops were excellent. “My son spent almost two years at Goddard before he went to Kindergarten. He learned A LOT (Alphabet, numbers, how to share during show and tell, etc) and he absolutely loved to go to school everyday. He still talks about his teacher from Goddard and how much he misses her. Some days he would even ask us to pick him up a little later so he could have more time with his friends since they were always doing a fun activity. The staff is excellent, very well prepared, everyday they have a smile on their faces and whenever we had a question we could call anytime. The directors and owners were always there to help as well. Another important part is that the school is always very clean! This Goddard location in Verrado has been around for many years and every time we meet somebody that took their kids to this school we always share great memories. We totally recommend it.”

The ranch was really good (my deal breaker). The fish and French fries were awesome. And the dirty martinis, were perfect! Probably the best I've ever had.
