Hi
LOST MY PRESCRIPTION GLASSES AT THE TRAILHEAD PARKING. Saturday April 6 around noon. If somebody found a case with my reading glasses, please contact me. Black case with green trim. It is a beautiful park, the hot springs are phenomenal. We had a great hike in and out. Please hope to get my prescription glasses back. Thanks!!
This was awesome!! Worthwhile hike but the turnoff is poorly marked and easily missed! No restrooms or water, so be prepared. The hikes are in canyons so the trails are not hard to follow. The hike is definitely a little more aggressive so be prepared for a little more than a walk. If you are in reasonable shape, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem. There is 20 foot ladder that you will need to climb and you do need to plan to be wet if you’re heading down to the Hot Springs if you want to make the full loop because the Hot Springs are about waist deep with no way around. AWESOME!!
Liberty Bell Trail (not the Hot Springs Trail) is easy/moderate and can be completed in 3 hours there and back. There is a manganese mine hidden half way through the trail you can explore. Make sure to pass the actually Liberty Bell Arch and complete the trail to see stunning views of the Colorado River Canyon.
This is a great intermediate hike. 3 miles each way if I remember correctly. The rock walls on the way in are just amazing. The springs are phenomenal. I want to go back.
