(July 2, 2019, 7:47 pm)I am a Pima County Master Gardener. It take approximately 60 hours of formal training and 50 hours of volunteer work to become certified Master Gardener. It is a great program. The office is open M-F from 8 AM to 12 Noon for a Plant Clinic. It is a good place to go to the Extension Service which is tied into the University of Arizona. Great place to get U of A recommendations on Desert Plant and gardens.
