I had a great stay at Sleeping Dog Ranch! They were very accommodating to myself and my bird dogs. The lodge was nice and clean. The bathroom was clean as well. Overall a great stay and I really appreciate their hospitality!
We tent camped here and found it to be the perfect tenting situation. Having access to the "Saloon" aka clubhouse was the biggest plus. For $25 a night we were able to use all the amenities in the clubhouse which included an inside restroom and shower, laundry and detergent, fully stocked kitchen with cookware, utensils, dishes, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot and coffee, TV, full sized fridge, couches, tables and chairs, books, games. They also sell fresh eggs and honey. For tenters this was an oasis. We dont have horses but they do have corrals for people that do. The location is perfect for a day trip to Tombstone and Bisbee. Many wineries are located within minutes from the ranch. We will be back on our return trip from Texas and will make it a destination in the future.
This place is awesome! It is very reasonably priced. They have six RV spots with water and electric and a few others with no hookups. There is an RV Dump on site.
The hookup sites are in a circle with a fire pit in the middle. Two of the three nights they had a fire and everyone came out and sat around the fire and visited and even the owners Mike and Kim came out. The owners are super nice!
They have a couple of very friendly dogs in a large fenced area and you can go in and play with them. My girls LOVED the dogs and they have goats and chickens too!
There is clubhouse type building with a full kitchen and living room and bathroom with a shower and washer and dryer. It even has a wood stove for winter!
If you like stargazing this is a great place! Its nice and dark so you can see millions of stars.
My girls didn't want to leave and neither did I! We will definitely be visiting again soon!
Great place to camp with 30/50 amp & water hookups, dump station, solid WIFI, dry camping, wonderful clubhouse, reasonably priced. Not too far outside of Tucson, Sonoita and Patagonia. Mike, the owner is very accommodating and Yvonne the caretaker for the camp is absolutely wonderful. We will be making this a regular place to visit.
What a great find. Spacious spots with water and electric and a few with no hookups. One dump station available. Corrals for horses. Nice clubhouse and wonderful hosts. Lots of OHV roads. Beautiful part of Arizona that we had never seen before. Snowed one night, gone by morning. Can’t wait to come back and experience another season.
