George Mehl Family Foothills Park

I've been to this lovely quiet park a few times now. It has a few sports fields, a dog park, a cute playground, and the Tucson Girls Chorus building all in one place. The view of the mountains to the north and clear view of the desert sky. The park is very clean as I've seen workers present taking care of the park. It is near the wash so it's a great place to walk around and appreciate the desert surrounding. I come here to think, sing to myself aloud, write, and enjoy view of the mountains. One of my favorite hidden gem parks I recently rediscovered. I was visited by a red cardinal bird today. Truly a surprise as it's been a while since I've seen those beautiful red feathers. I highly recommend this park.

Great dog park - grass, shade structure with picnic tables (I don't know why, though. No food is allowed in the park.). Friendly dogs!

We had a wonderful time watching baseball and soccer. The park is beautiful. Well lit up at night and has many happy faces. I recommend this to everybody....

Wonderful dog park, clean and inviting. Great place to take your dog if they socialize well. No separate area for little dogs. Lost of large dogs could be an issue. My pups are small/tiny. I make sure to be with them as one bite could be the end. I have been to this park maybe 6 times and never had an issue.
