East Tucson Baptist Church

Been attending services here for about 5 years or so. It has been a wonderful experience for me and my family. The members are some of the most loving people you could ever hope to meet and the Pastor John is a great man who really preaches the word in a profound and useful way.

This is a good church made of of good people, not perfect people. Just people depending on the saving grace of God with a desire to share that faith. The services could vary from week to week, but each week this church is swinging for the fence. Every week the Word of God is proclaimed, the name of Jesus is lifted up, and God's Spirit inhabits the hearts of His people. This Christian church struggles, as any church would struggle, to maintain its kingdom focus despite the distractions of the world. The people involved in this church continues to strive to be a "Kingdom-Focused" church; they are working together to reach and teach people about God's love by faith in Jesus Christ, through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. This church values biblical authority, the Great Commission, prayer, unity in diversity, innovation and worship. This is a small church depending on a big God to do great things!

I've been attending here regularly since mid-2014. Jesus Christ is the foundation of this church, all teaching is based in His Word, the Bible, and praise and worship lead us into His presence. There is no human in any church anywhere that is perfect, as we have all sinned and fallen short, so if you're looking for a perfect church, you will only find that in heaven. For here and now, this is a wonderful group of imperfect but genuine, loving and caring people who will warmly welcome you into the family of Christ and support you in your journey to follow Him.
