Great and Simple Bible Based Church

Besides the awesome kid's facilities, indoor basketball court, infant and toddler Bible study, and children's church, the best thing about Sahuaro Baptist Church, hands down, is the fact that everything is based on the Bible.

Very knowledgable pastor, who not only looks at each verse but at the context of each, and even the meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek translations.

There is no big show or theatrics, just sing a few hymns and dig into the Word. Not pushy, no mass emails or phone calls, just a very simple and "old school" church.

Also, everyone involved in kid's ministry has to go through a background check, which we loved because you can never be too safe.

Lastly, I saw a weird review and the person who wrote it also wrote a few other reviews just for churches and all weird and negative. Not today Satan!

The people here are top-notch! So sweet and nice and funny- you'd wish they were in your neighborhood! They have sports programs, like volleyball where they practice 2x a week and take the kids on tournaments. They go on outings, like Mt.Lemon all together in the van and spend a few hours up there and there are dinners and swim parties and its just great fun and great people!!!

I have been going to this church since after my Dad has passed away, and I’ve grown to love the congregation. Like any family, you’re going to have differences, squabbles, and small spats, but there are always going to be people there who will help to keep you anchored. I’ve grown to love and greatly respect the pastor and his wife, and I feel at peace when I’m in the church.
