Nic is not only a very talented high level teacher but also a brilliant guy. I was completely clueless when I first started 10 years ago and with Nics patience, skills, time and effort he turned me into a competitor in a relatively short space of time. The way that he breaks down moves and explains the mechanics gives you confidence from the start. Moves and concepts he taught me back then I still use today! It's fair to say I was upset when he left London to teach around the world. Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of the best around.
I’ve been lucky enough to know Nic for many years. He has a holistic approach to Jiujitsu and works towards longevity in training as much as performance on the mat today. He’s a brilliant coach who is constantly researching new material.
I have had the pleasure of training one on one and attending some of Nic's seminars. He is an amazing teacher that takes a personal interest in the development of those he teaches.
His attention to detail and the way he explains and demonstrates techniques, though the use of concepts helps speed up the learning process and solidify the understand of them far quicker than conventional methods.
As a teacher myself it has helped me change and improve the way I teach my students and helped me look at my own Jiu Jitsu with new eyes.
I would highly recommend Nic as a teacher and mentor.
In my 22 years of jiu jitsu, I've never met an instructor better at breaking down the concepts of the art. If you take a lesson, you will learn not only techniques, but concepts. That's important.
Nic has been the most influential teacher on my Jiu Jitsu journey. His concepts help me understand the intricacies of the art allowing my entire game to grow. Not only does he possess solid technique and great principles, he also has an uncanny ability to simplify the techniques so I can grasp them in a way that sticks long term. Time with Nic is well spent. 1 on 1 is golden!
