Brings back memories of me as a kid when I visit this park
This is my hometown park for over 45 years. It looks great.
This little gem of a park is a favorite stop for me while biking on the Tucson Loop. Being an old basketball player it has a nice court to shoot around on, two pools for adults and little times alike. It is so well maintained and seems very secure. I now park my vehicle there when I wish to bike to and through South Tucson and into the downtown area. Beautiful old pine trees shade picnic tables and grills. Clean modest restrooms and friendly hard working staff complement this park. Close by Alvernon and E. Drexel.
The park is great for everyone. I take my dog she likes the soft grass. Walk the bike path for awhile in both directions usually spend a half hour walking . Very enjoyable
There's a men's and women's restroom in the park that's open all day,and its clean. They have a basketball court that's really nice, and tennis courts. They have 2 play sets for small kids and an open field for football or baseball. Park looks well kept up by the city. They have handicapped accessible parking and the restroom is as well.
