(April 23, 2020, 10:31 am)Best ever sweet potatoes and BBQ 1/2 Chicken ever! I'm not into food and I usually eat because I have to but last night that all changed for me. That was best food I had all year to say the least, talk about happy; your BBQ puts everything else way behind it Mr. K!
Whatever your doing don't stop please, and can't wait to come back for more. Thanks!

(February 27, 2020, 2:35 pm)Great barbecue!! Many options for meals and sides, delicious! Gluten free and allergy options if you ask. The surrounding area isn't the greatest but you feel right at home inside, especially with the board games available to play.
(February 14, 2020, 6:41 pm)I've been going here since I've was just a child. You can never get tired of eating there food it's so delicious. What ever you desire to eat you wont be disappointed. The ribs and catfish plate wit a side of peach cobbler has always been my favorite as well as my whole families.

I recently visited Mr. K's BBQ. The place is a blue shack which is well kept inside (especially the restrooms are cleaner than you expect). Back to the food - I have visited twice since the time I wrote this review and will probably visit again during my stay in Tucson. I ordered the Beef Brisket and Beef Ribs during my initial visit and Beef Brisket, Beef Ribs along with Beans, Sweet Potato and Corn Bread in my follow-up. The meat is very tender and juicy. I did find the ribs fatty versus the brisket. If you are looking for a leaner meat, go with the brisket. After having the meat, I really did not care much about the sides. The sweet potato and beans are really good too, though I found myself stuffed after all that food.
The staff (Mr. K and his sidekick) are very friendly and really help you figure out the order if it is your first time. Oh, and as a Texan, I endorse this place.
(October 6, 2018, 2:44 pm)This is a Tucson original one of my go-to places for BBQ. one of the things that makes this place great is they smoke their meat with mesquite wood you don't see that very often and it gives the BBQ a very distinct taste and flavor. on a recent visit I was invited to go in the back and see the smoker in action and get a sample of the brisket straight from the Smoker.
