I highly recommend Sars Auto Transport and the owner Kent Bauman. When we were arranging for an interstate move, a big question came up from the various reviews I was reading on auto transport and that involved a problem with the transport not showing on the appointed day. I called several companies in Tucson regarding auto transport and I discovered many were just brokers. I was finally fortunate enough to find Sars and I explained my concern regarding auto transport not showing on the scheduled day which would be a huge problem if the movers were there and the move was to be out of state and they were to leave for the new address once the furniture was loaded. Mr. Bauman said that was not a problem as I could leave the autos at his place of business and he would arrange for the transport. This local company not only has an office in Tucson but also a place to hold your vehicles and for a very reasonable fee he will arrange for the pickup and you pay the driver when the vehicles arrive. I shipped two vehicles by covered carry and they arrived a couple of weeks later in the same condition that I had left them with Mr. Bauman. I might add that Mr. Bauman had to make arrangements with 2 or 3 covered carries that did not show before he finally had one show to pick up the vehicles and he is in the business. I cannot imagine how bad this would have messed up my interstate move had I been the one making the arrangements and having no shows. We had a complex task, to get a minivan transported from Tucson to Cape Cod on short notice, and SARS went the extra mile for us, They are honest and creative, and in contrast to some of the "big" companies, they pay attention to detail and keep their word. I'd recommend them, especially to folks who live seasonally in Tucson, as a local solution to long-distance challenges.
