Like most any patient in early recovery, I didn't freely choose to go to Cottonwood. However, my experience there has changed my life. The grounds are truly a spiritual environment that inspire and add to the recovery process. I'm eternally grateful for my Cottonwood friends, family and staff. Cottonwood continues to support my recovery through the Alumni program. I will hold my experience there dear to my heart forever. Cottonwood Tucson does amazing work. They are staffed with well trained and highly educated professionals. Welcoming a wide range of individuals battling with substance abuse and/or mental illness, they do a great job identifying underlying issues and treating each client. I do not hesitate to recommend this facility to others in need of help

Having worked in behavioral health for over 14 years, I always feel confident in sending people to Cottonwood. Their clinical excellence sets them a part from a lot of other programs. Additionally, the medical team is extremely sophisticated and comprehensive. Having sent many individuals over the years, their medical director and Chief Medical Officer have discovered many complicated underlying issues.

I am always impressed when Cottonwood treats co-occurring diagnoses in comfortable setting with empathy, compassion and sophistication. When it comes to treatment centers; the most important component is the employees that take care of the individuals. I personally know the employees; intake, kitchen staff, adventure therapy, clinicians, outreach reps and leadership staff. Cottonwood has been around for more than 35 years and I can comfortably state that I would send a loved one there.

From a professional standpoint my experience with Cottonwood over the years has been amazing. The feedback I receive from my clients are spectacular. They are attentive, genuine and caring with every client I have referred. I love having a facility nearby that I can work with and know that my clients will be treated appropriately and taken care of. My experience at Cottonwood was absolutely great. My life was totally turned around. The treatment one receives at Cottonwood is holistic. There are very learned lectures about addiction and how the body responds to drugs, alcohol, and stress. The facility is beautiful - equine therapy and a pool, walking trails, and a fully equipped gym. The food is delicious. The staff is extremely professional. Each day is a journey toward wellness and a bright future. I have gotten my life back and I have Cottonwood to thank for that.
