“Keith and I moved to Green Valley July 2022 and he found Valley Christian church via the Internet. from the first day that we walked in we really enjoyed the people, the prayer, the preaching and the fellowship. it really feels like home. Jim calls once a week to check in to see how we are doing.. they have Sunday potlucks once a month, they have Wednesday prayer gathering, Friday game night, Thursday women’s Bible study, men’s breakfast, and they support the community. Hope you Visit VCC for Sunday school at 10 AM and/or service at 11 AM on Sundays. I have learned so much about the Bible, biblical history and how it applies today. This is a Bible believing church that loves our savior, Jesus.”

It's located at Wrightstown road off Harrison which is only 10 minutes from our home. So we decided to try it out. Best decision on a church we've ever made! We've been with this church for about 4 years now. Pastor Kyle, whom also teaches the freshman Bible class at Desert Christian High School, gives an excellent message every Sunday just as any good teacher does in school. Very laid back and relaxed atmosphere with great fellowship with the rest of the church. “This is my other home Church in Tucson, after being grafted in to the Vine in the summer of 2019, by being born from above through the Spirit of God. At that time, the LORD Jesus became no Longer the Stumbling Stone, but the Living Risen Saviour of my soul, who IS the Cornerstone, the ONLY foundation for this New Life in Him. Although currently, from March 2021-2022, this Artfest Show Host has been blessed immensely to be utilized as a part of planting Cornerstone's Sister Church in Coolidge/Casa Grande area, known as Redemption Bible Church (RBC). Cornerstone is where our RBC head Pastor, Greg Thornberg, will sometimes do guest teaching, as well as future Pastor in training, Jacob Thornberg, his son. “Great and Simple Bible Based Church Besides the awesome kid's facilities, indoor basketball court, infant and toddler Bible study, and children's church, the best thing about Sahuaro Baptist Church, hands down, is the fact that everything is based on the Bible. Very knowledgable pastor, who not only looks at each verse but at the context of each, and even the meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek translations. There is no big show or theatrics, just sing a few hymns and dig into the Word. Not pushy, no mass emails or phone calls, just a very simple and "old school" church. Also, everyone involved in kid's ministry has to go through a background check, which we loved because you can never be too safe. Lastly, I saw a weird review and the person who wrote it also wrote a few other reviews just for churches and all weird and negative. Not today Satan!”
