First, I'm one of those who will always read the one star reviews. Two out of the three listed here give no details about why they don't like this doctor. Having worked in health care, I can say the third one actually explains the reason why they were dismissed from the practice. A doctor can't be responsible for a patient when the parents refuse to follow up so he can monitor the health of the child. The parents sound like they wanted to be their childs doctor and just order what they wanted. Not good.
That said, Dr Vaughn is one of the BEST pediatricians I've met. He is certainly the most thorough, well-educated, kindest doctors I know so far. He takes his time, explains everything, and does his best to ensure kids are comfortable with him. Take your kids to this doctor. You won't be disappointed. AND you will be better equipped to care for your children.

I see Dr. Vaughan and his staff for both my 5 year old son and my 4 month old daughter. My only regret is that he wasn't my son's doctor growing up as I didn't live here. He is amazing. He is very educated and always educates my husband and I. I learn new things about children at each doctor appointment I never knew and wish I had known when my son was younger. Dr. Vaughan answers questions I didn't even know I had until he educates me on the matter. He and his staff are very patient and very attentive. Dr. Vaughan makes my husband and I feel like we are great parents and doesn't judge. He is very witty with a good sense of humor. Dr. Vaughan is also very gentle with the kids and I appreciate that he is so considerate of others as well as the environment and the world around us. I do not have anything bad thus far to say about him and his staff. I am so grateful to have found an amazing pediatrician as I am super picky about who cares for my family and I. Afterall our lives our in a doctor's hands.

My wife and I have been taking our two girls to him for almost two years, from birth for both. We moved further away but refuse to switch because our girls love him to death and equally important we love him. He is so caring and sweet with the kids!

One review mentioned the Nurse Practitioner, and I agree she was a bit sour but he fired her quickly telling us she was “not a good fit” smart man! I hope he finds someone decent to help out because he might need a break once and a while. Can’t say enough good things about him love his office!!
