“I don't attend this church. My family likes to visit the taco stand on Saturday nights. They are only open on the weekends, Friday through Sunday. They set up next to the parking lot and they have delicious street tacos. I don't think this church is actually open anymore but yeah we only come for the tacos. They seem like nice people. ❤️”

He is retired and the people here are so loving and friendly! I no longer go hair except for every once in a while just to say hello but if you're looking for a small cozy and loving this is a good place for you I'm praying for a revival in it I'm praying for an Awakening in it and I'm praying for missionaries and evangelist to come from it because every Church needs to be revived for Christ in Jesus name they are dry and it's time we rise and stop sleeping in the pews”

“I grew up in a WELS in Wisconsin, (coincidentally also named Good Shepherd), so attending here for the first time, brought back a lot of memories and familiarity for me. I was able to see a 3 month old baby getting baptized into the Lutheran faith and able to receive Holy Communion. I had the Opportunity to chat with Pastor Deters prior to the service, a very pleasant person. He is ready to retire in two months after a 30 year tenure with this congregation. He also knew the Pastor of the church I grew up in Wisconsin, as he started his service in Illinois. The church was founded in 1947. They no longer have a school for the children. All of the people were welcoming and friendly. Overall, a pleasant experience if you are searching for a traditional Lutheran Church in the central Phoenix area.”
