He was treating me for a broken left hand work injury but I got dog bitten on my ring finger Sunday at noon, had it cleaned out by a Medical Center, Monday I was so sick, by Tuesday 9:30 appt Dr Guidera saw my finger & told me to go straight to ER (which I did) 30 minutes later my hand had doubled in size and was growing by the second with blood poisoning up my left arm to my elbow, my time was running out by 48 hours. The surgeon said out of 11 cases of sepsis that came in about the same time, I was the only lucky one. After 2 surgeries & a lot of antibiotics we managed to save it, he said the others weren't so lucky. Sepsis in 48 to 72 hours can take your finger or foot, arm or leg, or your life. I was suppose to be on a plane Wed. at 6: am for my son's wedding in Las Vegas. I missed it but I am alive. I am left handed and love arts & crafts, I would have missed it daily. Thank You❣❣❣ You are a wonderful person handling the situation just right for me to make the right choices.”
