“I came in today looking for a high end office chair. I knew this was supposed to be a "recycled office furniture" place but the condition of the office chair that I wanted to buy was basically brand new. The grains on the armrest were as if they were never touched and the leather on the seat and backrest were in perfect condition with no wear. The chair was extremely clean. The price range for the same chair will vary depending on the condition of the chair. From browsing their warehouse, the conditions seem to vary from used to practically brand new. Some may have scratches on the frame and base or they might have worn armrests and others may be in almost perfect condition. If you don't care about getting a chair in pristine condition, you can save a lot more money. I'd like to add that I'm usually the type of person to buy things brand new. The idea of buying a "used" office chair seemed off-putting at first since I think of used chairs as chairs with dirty stains and scratches. But when I saw that some of the office chairs I wanted retail in the thousands brand new, I quickly changed my mind and decided to give this place a try. And I am glad I did. This place has definitely set the bar high for "recycled furniture", if you can even call it that.”

“The Backwoods Custom team came out a few weeks ago and adjusted our custom barn door that they installed years back when we first built the house. The ground has settled (as it tends to in Gilbert) and the door needed raised. The guys were great to work with provided the same service making this adjustment as they did with our original order. “These guys are good! we had a bee problem where the bees had formed a hive inside one of our window ledges and we called them to remove them. They did such a good job the not only removed them but they cleaned it out added preventatives and fixed the window ledge which is very hard to find a bee service that will actually fix what they removed! I would highly recommend them for any bee problems! We had Marino Clifton come over and our service and he was amazing! he was very courteous and prompt he explained everything to me and made me know I was in good hands! He was very professional and even went the extra mile when he was fixing my window ledge! I appreciate the great service!”

“Honestly the best place I have recorded ever. Been my studio for about 5 years and Brian and Felix treat your songs and mixes personally. They want you to achieve the best sound possible. They are always on top of the latest mixing techniques and forever learning and honing their craft. Honest and dedicated with no nonsense. I refer all my music artist friends to them and I am not surprised to see them make their way to HKS. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend them is so I can hog all the recording time. Seriously though I am so thankful they produced 42 songs so far for me and I am amazed at the sound. If you’re not in AZ, but need mixing work they also transformed some of my lesser mixes recorded off site and brought them to life. I loved that he created sketches to help me to really see what he had in mind for a space. I found the process of bringing these sketches to live incredibly simple. Ernesto was always open to all feedback, but I found that every time he brought his top selections for furniture design/fabrics, he always hit the nail on the head. Patterns and color schemes I never would have considered before, came together perfectly & created a brightness in my home I never had. Also, with 3 young boys it was very important to me that we focused on durability. I have seen my beautiful pillows tossed every which way in my home & over a year later and they look as beautiful as they did on day 1. I also feel quite thankful that my appointment with Ernesto overlapped with a landscape designer one afternoon as Ernesto took one look at our backyard & the design we had & with a few sketches transformed a patio area we were working on.
