“I am still in touch with quite a few of my fellow alums. I will never forget how Encinal seamlessly stitched together a diverse Navy community town and was the better for it. I never heard of a faculty scandal, I never heard of a kid becoming a criminal the whole time I attended. Still a Jet, I try to stop by the school every few years.”

“Run or ride quickly to this bike shop!! I was looking to replace my Linus bike and found Westside Joe’s online. I was able to see a spreadsheet online of what was in stock- the most brilliant idea ever- and went right over. Vivee is the best- not only selling me the bike I wanted but calling in the mechanic in to make some adjustments so I could ride it home same day. A month later and I’m finally writing a review- I’ve been too busy enjoying my new bike! Thank you Vivee!”

“My nails are SHORT. I get gel nails. Nancy never hurts me when taking off my gels or filing my nails, other places (that sometimes I have to go to if I can't get an appt with Nancy because of me not her) make excuses with my short nails. Also Nancy detaches my nails from the polish after she puts the gel on, the other places I have had to try don't do that. ALSO! In order to keep your nails nicer, Nancy doesn't soak off my gels all the time. SO MANY REASONS to go to Nancy. If you KNOW gel and your nails. It's SO worth the time and small extra cost to go to Nancy. Her salon is not a regular salon, it does require an appointment, and is very high caliber. She knows everyone by name and exactly what they want etc. And she is oh SO lovely of a person.”

“Wonderful dentistry! Or should I say wizardry? Doctor Cathy Pham talked me through every step — in detail, I might add — so much so that after each of my visits, I felt as though I can be a dentist! All of my dental issues were resolved. No more pain, swelling gums, infections... No more problems! Doctor Pham even taught me some clever oral care techniques, and Cindy explained my insurance thoroughly. Since my last visit 6 months ago, I have had no issues.”

“Happened here by chance and I’m glad I did. My beef noodle soup was delicate, flavorful and chock full of beef shank (which happens to be the ideal kind for this dish)”

“I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and boneless wings. The wings are really good. I would actually order them again. It did not take that long for the order to be ready and it was on a Friday. Customer service was really fast and we’re really kind. Parking lot is very small. That is the only downside.”

“I stumbled across this place and thought what a perfect spot for an afternoon. My friends and I had the best time here. The staff is very efficient and helpful. The tea was absolutely amazing, very aromatic & flavourful but not over the top. There was really cute seating outdoor that I would recommend on a nice sunny day as they provide shade. To be nit picky, it was quite cold in the space… the ac and fans were going and would have been a little more comfortable if it was a tad warmer whilst waiting for the tea and afterwards. Highly recommend this place for cute dates/special occasions/family & friend outings”

“Love Vicki's Nails. They're break out clean, sealed tools for every client, use liners in foot spas, take temperatures of every guest, and ask people to sanitize their hands. Highly recommend.”

“Everyone is VERY personable and professional. I'm updating from 3 to 5 stars because when Robert saw that I wasn't totally satisfied with my haircut, he offered for me to come in so he could fix it free of charge, and he did a fantastic job! The before haircut wasn't bad, it just wasn't working for my hair type when it naturally dried.”

“What a WONDERFUL Company! I looked all over to find the quality of window shades that I remember having in our home as a child (wood round on top, strong springs, wood flat insert on the bottom, CROCHET ring even that hung down!!!) I thought I would never find that again for our home BUT! when I saw that they make them for you at Alameda Shades I called and Lydia was so old-fashioned wonderful that I purchased my vintage (new) shades from them and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! My husband is a historic renovation contractor and said they were awesome (meaning easy) to install too! Two things: Let lydia send you the color samples of your choices that you have (it was worth the few days wait to see, unless you just want white) and MEASURE MEASURE and MEASURE AGAIN EACH WINDOW to be sure you get the right measures on them because you will receive your shades with no give and ready to install. Now, they weren't cheap. No, they weren't the least expensive I found: ”
