“Longfellow has been a good place for my 8th grader- she has learned a lot about herself and working in a community. The orchestra, bands and lunch-time and after school clubs are great. Like any school, she has some great teachers, some good teachers, and some ok teachers.”

“Mrs. Hernandez is a wonderful mother--not only to her own children of 3 but to many of the children she helped care for. I have known Mrs. Hernandez since I was 4 years old. Growing up, she was more than just an after school teacher but like a mom to me and my fellow classmates. Mrs. Hernandez has such a nurturing, caring persona that makes anyone feel loved and accepted. Her school is warm and inviting--it makes you feel at home. She provides creative outlets for the kids through academics, arts and crafts, music, and dancing. She also provides Spanish lessons, teaching our little ones to be bilingual at a young age. These are just a few among many of the other wonderful amenities her day school offers. I highly recommend!”

“This is a great place to learn how to sail or windsurf and make friends. There is a strong sense of community and a co-op feel. It's a volunteer-run organization but works remarkably well because the members are so committed to one another and the community. And, you can't beat the price!”
