More than12 years ago I had total 3 teeth which went bad and needed root canal treatment. A friend recommended me to see Dr. G. Robert Hsu. I went to see him for several times for my 3 teeth.

My experience with Dr. Hsu was really great. He has very good expertise in microsurgical endodontics and dental surgery, and he was absolutely a dedicated doctor who was brilliant and worked extremely hard. I have to rate him as the highest level doctor in his field. Now it has been 12+ years and my teeth are still good!

For the 3 teeth of mine, one died more than 20 years ago, and another, which was a big tooth numbered 2, had tremendous loss of bone around it which showed a huge black hole on the X-ray. I was kind of terrified by my tooth condition, especially the number 2, if it were extracted then there were little bone around it for an implant. But Dr. Hsu saved my number 2 with root canal treatment. After many years, the bone around the tooth has grown to be enough and strong. Now I have enough bone around my number 2 tooth. I still remember how Dr. Hsu decided to treat the tooth, he said either to remove it, or try root canal. He said he felt the tooth was steady, not shaking at all, so he wanted to give a try to save it.

For a tooth in this serious condition priror to the treatment, the bacteria grew so badly in your bone, you may continue to experience some pain deep inside after the root canal treatment, but it is much better than before, and it will eventually go away after a month or longer.

My experience with other staff was great too. The assistants were very professional, kind and hard working, and they tried hard to help to save my teeth. They were well trained and had good knowledge in dental care.
