Kakuna Sushi

Food is Absolutely Amazing and made from High Quality ingredients!! Best Sushi Ever and was delivered to the table in less than 10 minutes

Checked this place out because of the great reviews. Got a bento for takeout - grilled pork belly, sashimi, and veggie tempura. Everything was tasty and well cooked. The gyoza was also surprisingly delicious. The sashimi was fresh and melt-in-your mouth good. The tempura retained its light crispiness even after a 15 minute wait in its sealed plastic container (boooooooo on the plastic!). The staff were super polite and friendly. Only complaint is they forgot to put the tempura sauce in my bag, and I bet that would have put the tempura over the top. Kinda bummed about that, but I'm still giving them 5 stars because everything else was on point.

Excellent spot for sushi at an affordable price. Many of the specialty rolls are about 12$ which is cheaper compared to many other sushi spots I have visited before.

The taste also either is similar or beats the other sushi spots I have been to. I have tried several different rolls (Sumo, Dragon, Kakuna, to name a few) and honestly they are all on par with each other. Pick any specialty roll and you can't go wrong.

I'd definitely come back!

The sushi at Kakuna was fresh, generous in portion, and delicious. The restaurant itself is very small and not particularly great to dine at, but the service was pleasant and there’s plenty of parking if you decide to eat there. I probably will do what most people do - order out - next time I go. You know a place is good when there’s a steady stream of people coming in on a Monday night to pick up orders!
