Been here 3 times, it's better to go earlier in the morning and cloudy day sine there are not many shades along the trail. Amazing view at at the top. Take your time to go up, but don't give up the view is worth it.

Today I did trekking at Mission peak. This is the best trekking experience I ever had. Very good sightseeing, sceneries along trekking. I recommend everyone to carry hiking sticks, which might help you to enjoy trail. Happy trekking..????????????????

A fairly tough hike as it is quite steep and also rocky at times as well. If you don't get there very early on a weekend the parking may add an extra half mile, so be prepared for that. Also keep in mind that there may be a line to take a picture at the pole on the top. When you reach the top it looks absolutely amazing and it feels absolutely rewarding!

Great hiking trail. It is well paced so that a first timer wouldn't over exert themselves with steep ascents in some areas and plateaus in others. There are quite a few animals to see on the trail if you are lucky. I caught an eagle, squirrel and some cows grazing. There are conveniently placed stops to rest and catch your breath and a bathroom some ways to the top. It is important that newbies and first timers come with their own water and snacks to stay refreshed. Making it to the top can be a challenge but very good for a solo hike or with family. The view is of course breath taking.

It's wonderful. Looks very beautiful during monsoon. It's a good place for hiking and walking. You might see Coyote, Horses and cows here. Parking area is very small. It's tough to get parking during weekends. Take enough drinking water with you if planning to hike for a few hours.
