Even amid an unprecedented global pandemic not only can John and Jennifer get the job done but they can get it done on time and with zero problems! John helped me through all the difficulties of buying a house during the first few days of Covid-19. The amount of unusual problems that came up from this virus was mind boggling but John was able to calm me down, walk me through and keep the purchase moving forward all the way through to the finish line. My husband and I started this home-buying journey the way most do, softly searching and poking around on real estate websites. Once we realized it was a possibility for us, we decided to find a realtor to better understand our reality.

After one conversation with Jennifer from Petrocelli Homes, we knew we had found our realtor. She made us feel comfortable, answered all of our budgeting questions and most importantly encouraged us to take our time in finding a home. She provided us with tools to make our search easier in the areas we were considering and within our price range. It was exactly what we needed to move forward.

This was not a short journey for us. We continued our soft search and even went to open houses on our own. Jennifer gave us space, checking in periodically to remind us our pace was just fine, and that she’d be happy to join us at open house viewings or show us homes that were not open to the public. For most of the journey, I didn’t want to inconvenience her if we weren’t serious about the home. She assured us that this was part of her job and she’d be happy to join.

Journey to Home ownership: After a year of this, things changed suddenly and the search aligned perfectly with life. We found out we were expecting our first baby, and we started the offer process. Jennifer helped us write a letter to the current homeowners, and a few weeks and two offers later; Jennifer had helped us secure the home we’d begin a family in.

We are SO HAPPY we had Jennifer in our corner. She never pressured us in the least bit, and she knew exactly how to get things going when we had to accelerate our search.

John is outstanding about helping his clients find the home they are looking for. He listens to the client’s needs and provides great detail to help. Being a Contractor as well, John knows what to look for in a house as well as what costs would be to perform any work, be it to bring the home up to standard or upgrades and remodeling. John also helps you hang in there if something does not go as planned on the purchase. He is very knowledgeable in real estate and knows how to make your purchase as easy and sure as possible.
I recently met John through an open house after I sold mine in a divorce. The Realtor that sold my previous house was more into selling homes than working with a buyer unless it was a high end purchase. John listened to my needs and understood my situation. We met Jennifer at an open house in our area when we first started thinking of selling. She knew our area well and we got a good feeling about her so we kept her card. We dragged our feet though so by the time we were committed to selling, the market has slowed down. She was very upfront about it and let us know exactly what was going on, which we really appreciated.

She explained the process and lined up contractors to get some of the larger things done we wanted to do to make us more appealing to buyers.
She helped us stage the place and took all the pictures, which I think turned out much better than the original listing when we bought the place. She was always available to come by and answer any questions we had. Before our open house, she was there early to help us get the place ready so it showed it's best.

We ended up getting multiple offers, and she sat with us to go through the pros and cons of each of them. There were some hiccups initially with the buyer, but she was very supportive of our needs (it was quite stressful for us!) and aggressively worked on our behalf to get the best price. We ended up getting more than we listed for while other places in very close proximity to us sat on the market.
