This is an open space so it could be better for winter hiking than summer. Most Trails are easy for everyone to walk. This park makes peaceful impression. There are a lot of different “birds” living here, which is great for bird photography.

This is a fantastic area natural preserve and park. You can drive in a ways and park your car for a fee ($5 last I knew, but I never park inside), or park at the entrance in a free parking lot or nearby street parking. The latter choices will require about a 1/4 mile walk to get into the main park area."Main park area" is, however, a bit misleading. The park has a picnic area, but this is really meant to be a place to commune with nature rather than a party zone. There are many trails that wind to different ponds, wetlands, hilly hikes, or around to the bay. It also connects to a major multi-use path that will take you to Isherwood and Quarry Lakes if you choose.I like trail running here. Ducks, geese, and untold other wildlife are about. There are paved, gravel, and dirt trails, and you can, by mixing them, find virtually any length run or hike you would like. Road bikes can get around on some rails, but I would recommend cyclists be on at least a gravel bike if they want variety in what's available.

Calm and Good place with less crowded. Recommend this place for outdoor photo shoots. Long walking trail. We saw snakes in the park, so please be extra cautious.

This place has a small museum to introduce the habitat for different animals and some history-very educational. Picnic area for family. Great trails for different people, old and young. you could walk along the bay or go up on the hills to overlook the Bay area cities, or simply along the bushes to enjoy calmness. It takes at least 30 minutes to finish one trail. Only thing is that there's not much shade

A nice, accessible park. There are 2 main sections of the park.

One takes you through some small hills and to the edge of the bay. This area is pretty with expansive views and lots of water fowl.

The other area is marshy and while it had more limited views it is still quite pretty. We have seen foxes, otters and lots of birds in the marshy parts of the park.
