“Our original day care couldn’t take our kid so we found Golden Cradle last minute thru words of mouth from our neighbors. I had no idea what to expect since it was our first child’s first time being taken care by someone else. After a year of enrollment I am so grateful for serendipitously finding this place and Hanna—the most patient, kind, sympathetic, and cheerful teacher. Our kid was very difficult and cried a lot in the beginning but the teacher managed to make our kid enjoy school, wanting to go back everyday. Another thing I love about the teacher is how responsible she is. Day and night she would reply to parents inquiry and special needs right away, and shared lots and lots of videos and photos. “What I appreciate about Lynn's acupuncture is her truly holistic approach. During our sessions, Lynn is always taking into account both physical and mental-emotional challenges I'm facing. She doesn't just see me as a patient, but a real person with real life issues, which informs what remedies she provides, from acupuncture, ear seeds, cupping, massage, and herbal formulas. Lynn has treated a diverse range of issues for me including back pain, PMS and cramps, as well as skin/acne issues. I always feel so much better after Lynn's sessions and walk away feeling more confident in my health. She never leaves me empty handed after treatment, and is always providing something I can take with me to continue my healing. Lynn is a true giver and compassionate practitioner who has obviously dedicated her entire life to serving others, especially with her added expertise as a yoga teacher (and mentor for other yoga teachers). “Both my kids go here - after school and preschool. The teachers are very good and help the kids with their home work and ensure kids do their homework on time. My younger one recently started in early preschool and we couldn't be more happier! The teachers are very good in taking care of our little one and ensure that he is eating all of his lunch. They are also very good at potty training our little one. They also emphasize a lot on cleanliness and visit there any time of the day to find it clean. I really recommend Genius kids technology drive location for aftershool and preschool.”

“Ms. Jay was our children’s teacher during their first years in preschool, and the reason why we came back to the school (MHoC in San Francisco) for our 2nd child. Our oldest was 3 when he joined her class, and our youngest 2.5 year old. They both thrived under her care. We're so grateful both our children got her as their teacher! She has a magnetic energy, is loving and caring, organized and patient, all while offering structure to the little ones. The children come into her class each morning with a big smile on their face. That's how you want all kids to get to love school, in a warm yet structured learning environment. Ms. Jay has years of experience in Montessori play and learn methods and early child development. She put so much into her zoom classes during Shelter-in-place last spring (it is a challenge to remain seated in front of the screen for 1 hour when you're 3 years old!) she managed to keep them engaged and give them a much-needed sense of routine and familiarity. We highly recommend Ms. Jay and trust she will offer the best nurturing environment for your child.”

“Have not swam at Calphin Aquatic Club since it first opened. Actually I was quite reluctant to go back, but I did and was pleasantly surprised 😊. The crowds were gone, due to Covid-19 and their adherence to the strict protocols is impressive. A big improvement was how the front office is run. A huge difference from when they first opened!! Josh has excellent customer service skills and to me, that speaks volumes!! Although the pool is fantastic, it's the people who work there that make the experience a positive one. 👍👍 Cannot say enough about how far this club has come from it's earlier days!! High 5's to the new management and staff!!!”

“My son Andy has been attending the Gulu Gulu After School Enrichment Program and Summer Camp for the past 3 years. As a parent, the Gulu Gulu program has exceeded all of my expectations. There are so many great things that I want to share with other parents. Gulu Gulu promotes a warm, nurturing, safe and accepting learning environment. To be honest, the staff and other students feel more like extended family members the longer my son is in the program. He feels accepted for who he is, yet he is challenged to do his best. Gulu Gulu provides small teacher to student ratios, which allow my son to get more attention and support he needs. Also, as a two parent working household, Gulu Gulu has safely picked up my son from his school and transported him to the learning center for the past 3 years without any issues or concerns.”

“There really isn't a difference between a normal Irvington student and a CCA student. You study the same material but sometimes instead of essays CCA students would do art projects/group projects. The art classes are fun though (to those who are really interested in visual art). Band/Marching Band is also fun. I've created a lot of good memories because of our band reviews and all that jazz. If the student takes Honors and AP classes, well... life's going to be hard (I'm warning y'all, especially if you go through the accel. Math path). If you want your child to go to this school, they need to be prepared for the massive amount of work teachers will give to students. Change, WIP, and QUEST will be really hard if the student can't handle a lot of work. In my opinion, the benchmark projects are somewhat useful and at the same time useless. I mean, you could use it to apply to jobs. Source checks (idk why these exist) will really enhance your ability to know whether things are credible (hah i dont find this useful at all). Other than that, the people are really nice and respectful (not to some teachers though). If you stay with hardworking people, that will really help you to work harder. The school is really diverse, so students are very welcoming. Well that's all I have to say I guess. Let's go Vikings :P”
