Yummy chicken and kimbap, great customer service :)

Ordered the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken 10/22/2021. This was by far the best fried chicken I’ve had outside of South Korea, probably even including S.K. To call it an experience is an understatement. I will be making this a regular dinner choice for my family. Can’t wait to try the bulgogi and other options. A+ 👍👍

Family Favorite! We go at least once a week for the boneless soy garlic wings. Plus we like to try new things on the menu. So good!

Volcano Island may be the best Korean Fried Chicken in East Bay San Francisco, as I can not think of any other place with chicken quite this juicy, portions quite this large and sauce quite this tasty. To further emphasize this, these wings completely dwarf what you'd find at your neighborhood Buffalo Wild Wings - 6-8 could feed any adult, if not borderline excessive.

At $25 for 16 wings, which also comes with cabbage salad (solid), daikon (great), and rice (why not), Volcano Island is a must-have in Hayward.

Atmosphere: 2/5 - No outdoor seating, proximity to dumpster
Food: 6/5 - Incredible.
Drinks: N/A - The place sells soda.
Service: 4/5 - Friendly staff although given store lay out, is not conducive to actual customer service.
