As my wife and I were first time homebuyers, I was apprehensive and nervous, but Willis and Winnie were extremely present and helpful throughout the entire process and made 100% effort to answer all of our questions, which really kept our minds at ease. We had many mornings and late evenings during our house hunt and Willis and Winnie made sure that my wife and I were able to tour all of the properties that matched with our budget and goals. They have a wealth of knowledge from their decade plus of experience in real estate and my wife and I were also able to lean on their expertise of construction when designing the layout of our new home.

My partner and I were first time home buyers in an extremely competitive market (San Jose, Redwood City, and San Mateo). We didn’t know where to start and seemingly had hundreds of decisions to make with a breadth of financial and home-living factors to consider. All of which would’ve been overwhelming if it weren’t for Winnie and Willis. With them, we always felt informed and prepared. There were never any surprises.

We asked every conceivable question. Questions about process and paperwork, offer strategy, market trends, home decor and renovations – and they always responded with thoughtful and layered answers. We always got context, and the pros and cons of every option. Willis and Winnie are thorough, and they remained patient and understanding even when I was being annoying lol.

Winnie brought us home, holding our hand through contract, escrow, and closing. Her eye for design perfectly complements Willis’s experience with development/contractors. Their collective knowledge of home renovations are just as valuable as their insights as agents. It was incredibly helpful to know which of our renovation ideas were possible, with a breakdown of how much each would cost, so we could factor that into our finances. After closing, they even program managed our renovations, lining up contractors (which can be a nightmare) so there was no delay in our move-in date. True end-to-end service.

They took our calls and text at odd hours, on weekends, even on their vacations. I can’t count the number of times my partner and I called them freaking out about something. Only for them to calmly talk us off the ledge and reassure us. Those impromptu therapy sessions were exactly what we needed.

That’s just the type of people they are. They understand how important buying a home is and empathize with their clients. It’s genuine care. They don’t just want their client to buy a house; they want you to be happy. There’s a difference. And that type of empathy and attention to detail stands out. I can’t imagine surviving this process without them, and am forever grateful for their hard work.

We had a great experience buying our first house with Willis and Winnie. As first time buyers, we knew nothing. Willis would tell us about all little features and details of the houses while giving us a tour which made us convinced enough to make our decisions every-time.
