Artistic Picture Framing

Artistic Picture Framing is truly a great and intentional establishment. I came here to have a few off my prints I got off etsy framed and the woman who helped me was so thoughtful with her advise and opinions. I got something framed for my roommate as a parting gift, and the woman even wrote me a kind note wishing me luck on my move. I would highly recommend getting your framing services here at this great, local shop!

We splurged and bought a painting that we fell in love with from a gallery in LA. I knew we wanted to frame it to not only enhance it but also protect it. We thought we knew what we wanted for the frame, but weren't 100% sure. I am SO glad I was open and listened to Bethany's suggestions. She gave us some other ideas and it turned out amazing!

I have had art framed through the Bay- San Francisco, the peninsula, Marin. I found B (the chief artist and framer) on a recommendation from an artist whose gets his work done there.

They do amazing work, and B is the reason: her eye is first rate and she recommends things that are beyond the scope of the layperson. Additionally she has talent in many areas: prints, original art, and lately, scarves. This is what separates her from other framers I have used- her meticulous mounting (HAND SEWN!) of silk onto a frame board are first rate.

I continue to send my pieces here and am always impressed. The artwork on my walls garners a lot of referrals for B, all of it justified.

This is a really cool art store to hang out in, that just happens to have a great framing store tucked in the corner. Kids will love the giant dinosaur! As far as framing goes, if you want fast and cheap, go somewhere else. They do quality work and that takes time (and makes them in demand), They did a great job framing a half dozen different sized paintings and posters for me. Lots of colorful frame choices and styles/materials as well as helpful, knowledgable staff who don't rush you.

I needed some scarf hung up using its specific magnetic scarf hanging system, rather than framed in a traditional glass frame. Artistic Picture Framing was able to design something per our request and turned it around fast, too. Great service. Highly recommended for your complicated projects.
