  Maura is an angel. I went to Sliding Scale Acupuncture when I was going through kratom withdrawals and actually having a physical / mental breakdown. Maura made space for me to be messy emotionally, which is really hard for me in general. I was asked many guided questions about what was going on for me and why I was seeking treatment. I got a lot of unwanted energy out during the accupuncture session and finally got some relief after several days of feeling like my body was truly broken. Definitely going to make this a regular practice. Thank you again.

  I cannot say enough good things about Sliding Scale Acupuncture! The space is very peaceful and relaxing. Maura is so attentive and really takes the time to ask all the right questions to provide the best treatment and help you get to the bottom of whatever is ailing you.

  One of the best acupuncture sessions I've had yet! Maura did a great job of listening to and balancing my areas of focus. My treatment was very relaxing :) Also I had dropped something heavy on my foot the day before and I swear she's the reason I didn't end up with a giant bruise on my foot!!!

  I had always been intimidated by acupuncture until Maura began offering her services. She creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and is great about checking in along the way. After a couple visits, I’ve left feeling 100% more relaxed and like I have tools to face any concerns.

  I had a wonderful first visit at Sliding Scale Acupuncture. Maura is very professional and knowledgable and did a very detailed evaluation of my (several) health concerns that brought me to acupuncture. She ultimately prioritized my digestive complaints and did corresponding treatment, which was very relaxing. I have recommended her service to strangers and friends since, and would recommend to anyone looking for a supportive, non-intimidating acupuncture experience.
