Pretty great to take my child. Wish their was more animals tho was their from opening 930am to almost closing 330pm. They close at 4pm the day I went. Only one gift shop.

There were no huge crowds and I enjoyed the animals, plants and weather. There are a lot of new exhibits to explore and riding the gondolas is a fun experience.

We have a membership and come all the time. It's a great place for our 3 year old. You can take the team to the top of the hill for one of the best views in Oakland and sit down and have a burger or coffee. The park is nice. Lost of animals and lots of space. Can be busy on the weekends so get there early or a bit after noon when the kids go to nap. They always have. Special events as well. Definitely an Oakland gem.
