Pete and Christian has been wonderful to work with. Our situation was a bit complex and required multiple coordination with different parties. It wasn't a typical install job, but Pete and Christian walked us through the stages every step of the way. They provided us with a detail visual of what's to take place and the bids were on time and accurate. Very responsive and professional. Diligent and meticulous in how they plan out the work and made the entire process hassle-free for us as we worked remotely with them due to our busy schedules.

I needed to replace a 40's electrical main panel in my Berkeley bungalow home. I could not be more happier that with the work that PJ Erwin did. They were up to date with current City of Berkeley codes such as not updating the electrical main in it's current location because it was 36" within the gas meter. Both Pete and Christian reached out to both the City of Berkeley to arrange for inspections and PG&E to move the electrical line from the north side of the house to a new location on the south side. I wanted more capacity and they quoted me a price and stuck to it. There were no surprise extra charges. They kept me in the loop via email and text as to what was going and what was happening next. We passed inspection and happily feel much safer now with circuit breakers vs the old screw in fuses. There pricing is very fair. If you are looking for an honest, trustworthy electrician, this should be the one you select.

Pete ushered us through a hellish experience with PG&E upgrading our electrical panels which was required by our home owners insurance after purchasing a property. He provided competent know-how and calm when we wanted to tear our hair out. We had an added issue of underground, rather than overhead, power lines which required trenching and additional coordination. Pete also managed this coordination with the trenching company in addition to PG&E and generally made bureaucratic ridiculousness tolerable. Pete is great!

We had a very good experience working with PJ Erwin Electric when they installed a new breaker panel and an outdoor light at our home. They completed the work on schedule and within the proposed budget, and were professional and considerate. The final inspections required by PG&E and the City of Berkeley were monitored and successfully completed. We are happy to recommend them.

Pete and his crew did a pretty big job for us replacing our electrical service and removing old knob-and-tube wiring. We could not be happier with his quality work, consistent communication, and reliability. Best of all, he's a super-nice guy!
