“Doctor Ting goes over and beyond to do his best to take care of your dental needs. He is gentle, and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. He is an excellent dentist. He draws from his many years of experience. He does almost every aspects of dentistry: fillings, root canal, dentures, surgery and so on. Excellent work and yet very reasonably fee! All of my family follows him from Oakland to San Leandro. I wish he can find a doctor to do braces for my kids though. I selfishly hope he never retires.”

“Dental care is an essential part of overall health, and I'm happy to say Dr. Pavithra has been my dentist for a few years. She is very down to earth and compassionate. To start, her office is impeccably clean with the latest technology, and the staff are exceedingly helpful, providing a lot of flexibility around scheduling appointments. I've had to reschedule appointments many times and the Astra Dental staff have been very accommodating. The overall atmosphere is welcoming and I never feel rushed or uncomfortable. I came in for the first time since COVID and it was no surprise that I needed some work. Dr. Pavi didn't judge me at all. She educated me about proper dental care and suggested treatments - I never once felt like she was being pushy. Dr. encourages patients to develop good preventive care habits using her extensive knowledge about oral hygiene. As a result, she and Vanessa worked with me on setting up a three-appointment treatment plan, which has been a breeze so far. Additionally, everyone in the office is honest and compassionate with great communication skills. Dr. Pavi is extremely consistent and I whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a new dentist.”

“Rosanna is just great. I chose her as the midwife for a planned home birth in 2012. I attended her Village Prenatal care, which combined very brief individual pregnancy check-ups with a longer group session to go over what was happening more generally to the bodies of the women in the group. It was wonderful to see how my pregnancy experience compared to that of other women in a supportive, nurturing setting. Due to complications I did not birth my baby with Rosanna, but she did include me in the post-birth get-together so I continued to feel a part of the Village Prenatal community, and received kind support from these other women as I processed the disappointment of a birth that didn't go as I'd hoped. I chose Rosanna because my doctor recommended her and because she has a tremendous amount of experience.”

“Dr Lee most kind to this senior citizen. Efficiently filled a large molar which had a broken side. I was able to avoid the cost of a crown due to his skill. Alexa at the front desk has an exceptionally friendly manner and dental asst Cynthia (if i remember correctly) is also friendly and efficient. Dr Lee has also treated my now grown children since they were younger. Son still sees Dr Lee and daughter when she visits from St.Louis where she now lives. I highly recommend Dr Lee and his team”

“I am in my twenties and was having gum recession and periodontal disease even though I took great care of my teeth. Saw Dr. Jen Lai for root planing and scaling. A couple months later, we noticed some improvement. The biggest improvement came after my hygienest Lynn recommended I use "soft picks" to clean in between my gums. Floss was not working well since I am so sensitive. After doing this, we noticed a great improvement in my gums and my mouth is now stable :) I am very glad I paid more to come here compared to a general dentist. Regular cleanings cost $142 as of this post.”
