Great little disc golf course with good access for running and biking as well as hiking to East Bay Regional Park lake Chabot
Great disc golf course. Not much else there. Issues are that if you are a disc golfer you will have to contend with other people obstructing the course. Also there are a lot of "undesirables" that like to "park" there. Otherwise it would have 5 stars
The atmosphere all over is just captivating, so beautiful and peaceful. Love going there to relax and play disc golf (great area for beginners or experience players). Always super clean. Trails are great for runners or just to walk. Beautiful scenery.
Visiting this place gives you an awesome feeling of the power and beauty of nature. You can set up to have a family BBQ, or rent a rowing or motorized boat or fishing in this awesome lake Chabot.
There are a 9 miles walking, jogging or biking trail.
Or just the overall majestic seeing is enough to get you energized.
This park has now reopened, and the disc golf course is open! The EBMUD dam retrofit project is complete. Happily, no lasting damage was done, and some disc golf baskets have been replaced. The course has the same 9 holes. Still plenty of tall trees to provide shade. This is my favorite course, because it's beginner-friendly, not very crowded, and still has a good variety.
