(December 21, 2022, 8:38 pm)Along with a couple other people in our group, it was our first time here. There were only a few tables to dine in, but we placed our orders before getting seated. We had to wait a decent amount outside, but once we got our food it was forgotten about. The food was pretty good, it reminded me of eating at an auntie or lola's house, very home-y. We ordered so many things: Lumpia, Java Rice, Fish Balls, Bistek, Inihaw na Belly Bangus, and Ginataang Gulay. I would've taken more pictures of all the entrees we ordered but I was so hungry that I forgot. Anyways, the Inihaw na Belly Bangus tasted so good, it reminded me of something I'd have at home. We ordered the Ginataang Gulay thinking that it was just vegetables because of the name and it didn't say it included pork on the menu, but it did. I wish they were clear about what they put in their entrees specifically on the menu. I just ate the sauce with vegetables and it was still very delicious. I look forward to coming back and eating here again. Maraming salamat mga Ates at Kuyas!
(December 3, 2022, 9:31 pm)If you want authentic Filipino food, which is much less expensive and healthier than American fast food, and you happen to live near TTR, you're lucky! They use fresh veggies and ingredients, and the portions are large. With a humble eating area with nice chill music, they aren't pretentious and got this reason I give them five stars across the board.
(July 28, 2022, 8:46 pm)It's good to be back! Toppings Too has not lost its touch in terms of very delicious, flavorful Filipino cuisine & hole-in-the-wall appeal. A couple of weeks ago, hubby & I visited this Union City branch two days in a row just to prove to ourselves that the great cooking was not a fluke. Service was quick & friendly. The cutlery & dishes need a bit more cleaning in spots. However, if you focus just on the great food quality & satisfying your Filipino food cravings du jour, Toppings Too is the place to go! PS Order their famous Java rice which goes with anything!
(July 24, 2021, 9:22 pm)Great Filipino food, from crispy para to liempo and more in between. The fried chicken tasted like Max's and the sinigang na hipon tasted like a home-cooked meal. The place is small (4 tables with dividers) and they don't take reservations so you will wait during peak hours but it's worth the wait.
(June 26, 2018, 12:06 pm)This place is no joke! They have the crispiest pata I’ve had, when they say sizzling plate it sizzling hot! Huge portion, cooked to almost perfect :).
The bathroom is located outside of the premises, limited parking space and a bit cramped inside but then again I forgot all of this once I start stuffing my face with food.
The food came out within fast as well.
