I was unraveling to say the least. I called on the phone first and they said they could help. When I got there..I think James helped me... He has a bat tattoo on his hand. He was super kind and considerate and walked out to the car with me. It's times like that ..when you really just need help ( and a new battery ) that the customer service is so important. “My first time going to Ackerman’s was very positive. They were recommended by a Volvo owning friend. I found them honest, efficient with time, good communicators and very experienced. I highly recommend them. I brought in my 2006 Subaru Outback due to clicking noise with sharp turns, handling problems and white smoke coming out of tail pipe. Bruce (owner) explained white smoke likely condensation with cooler outside temps (winter). I chose to pay for compression test which proved Bruce right. Worth the peace of mind for engine with 150,000 miles. They determined the clicking noise from cracked axil. Bruce explained he typically saves customers money by using non Subaru parts, but in this case they’ve found off market part’s inferior. They also found that my suspension is shot. For this he recommended cheaper non Subaru parts that he said are consistently reliable. I appreciate their wisdom here. As full suspension repair will cost more than blue book for the car, Bruce prioritized which suspension repairs are most vital to safety and asked how many more miles I plan to keep my car. They obviously are not trying to rip off the customer, but work collaboratively to assess the customer’s best options. Big thank you to Bruce and his team.”

“Was referred to chuck via family friend as I needed someone to take a look at my 98 4runner that I was having some various issues with. Chuck fixed everything and then some! They did such a great job the first time I brought them my Subaru wrx also to have some fresh tires put on and for them to also adjust my suspension which they had back to me in only a few hours. I recently dropped off my 4runner again and had them rip out my entire steering and suspension along with every bushing you could imagine and had it replaced with a full 3in lift and every other part I could fit in the trunk. They did a great job installing everything and even took it to the alignment shop for me. Even brought it back a few weeks later for him to comb threw the rig and make sure everything was tight and nothing had came loose and was running optimal. Chuck and his crew are a great set of people and they will spend the time to fix little things you dont see or know about that takes them 5min out of there day but knowing everything was fixed and done right. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs an honest mechanic”

“Had to get my '17 Macan's quarter window replaced no thanks to some thief. Called in and a gentleman named Wiley picked up. My glass needed to be special ordered, but Wiley got back to me within 30 minutes and walked me through all the insurance/cost implications. At no point did I feel pressured to make a decision, and I got off the call feeling fully informed of my options. When I spoke with my insurance provider, there were no questions/problems when I told them I want to use Adv Auto Glass instead of their "in-network" shop. Wiley offered to come to my place once the part arrived (2-3 days) to get things fixed, but I ended up visiting his Fremont shop. It took his crew about 70 minutes to replace it. Wiley's the nicest guy ever and I really appreciated his professionalism and also the friendliness of all the other staff in the office. Highly recommended!”

“Came here 30 min before closing because my tire pressure sensor had came on… After going to the gas station to pump air into my tires, I realized my valve stem was leaking so it wouldn’t hold air. After freaking out, I was happy to have found this tire shop still open!! They close at 7 and I came around 6:30. The workers are super friendly here and they quickly replaced my valve stem and also patched up my tire since they found a nail in there. Super quick and affordable!! I’m super happy to have come across this tire shop! 😊”
