Oil changes, smog checks even fixing a bent plastic bumper with a hot air (hairdryer type thing), all at very reasonable prices. Best deal ever was when Dave figured out why my old Mercedes was breaking down fix was $250 but at a dealer it would have been $2K No white coats here no dealer up selling but also no lounge, just nice hard working owner who gives a fair deal. Auto repair as it should be”

“The ignition locks to start the car are very hard to use. After 6 attempts, I gave up. Now I can't start my car up. I tried their 800# tech support and left a voice message. I am glad that I was not out on the road somewhere. Perhaps a tech can show me what I am doing wrong. It should not be that hard to use. Well I tried again, and the problem was that I was not blowing hard enough. Happy camper now. ”

“I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla with a Kelly Blue Book value of ~$4,400. About two years ago I sprayed cleaning product onto the hood of my car and I didn't wipe it down immediately. In fact, I let it sit overnight. As result, the cleaning product ate through several layers of paint making the hood of my car look extremely worn. For two years it drove me crazy and I often found myself thinking about buying a new car ($20K). But when I seriously considered buying a new car, it didn't make sense. The Corolla was still in good shape and it was getting me from point A to point B without any problems. In the end, I decided it made more financial sense and it provided me greater peace of mind to get the car painted. My uncle recommended that I take the car over to Peter at this Maaco location (San Leandro), and I'm glad I did. I went for the premium package and decided to paint the whole car to clean up other dings and wear it had accumulated on the doors and bumpers. Even though the premium package was about 1/4 of the value of my car, I did it because I wanted the paint job to last since I plan to hold onto the car for several more years. The paint job looks great, and I no longer feel embarrassed about the hood of my car. I'm happy with the work and feel the value was worth it.”
