“Clean and big rooms. Great prices. The hotel staff is awesome. Our king bed was comfortable. Water pressure is too low. The refrigerator is too small and not cold enough and the microwave is small and old fashioned. It is in a great location. You can walk to Target and walk to a Hawaiian BBQ, a taco shop by Target, a gas station etc. The hotel has a laundry room and nice vending machines.”

“OMG! What a wonderful Little gym of a walking distance to Alameda Beach. The swimming pool is cold as Dickens and still it warms up from natural sunlight it seems. Restaurant super close by super nice area. Give it a 2-3cleanliness but that's mostly the carpets in the hallway need some good resolve carpet cleaner and a carpet protectant. The floors need little bit more. Throw some mop & Glow wax on the linoleum. And shine up the counters. There's a central sharing room for silverware plates pots and pans coffee makers, which came in handy since my unit had kitchenette. It was really a 2-3 star, but I give it a 5star cause it is Such a homey and comfy a place.. And that starts with the staff at both the front desk who were SUPER NICE and the house keeping SUPER NICE. The people staying there were all nice . Continental breakfast good YOGERTS cereal , my fav put granola on the YOGERTS, toast, milk oj coffee sweet rolls. If ya want to dine there's all of Alameda or the usual franchises at the mall walking distance. Cable kept buffing and going off. But overall it always came back on. Most enjoyable was the ALAMEDA BEACH OMG ...Priceless!!!!!”

“The building isn't pretty oiutside, but the rooms inside are newly redone, very clean, and nice. The redone bathroom was very nice, and functional. The location is great for exploring Oakland; near bus stops. And the price, well, it's hard to beat! (esp. considering how stupid expensive Bay Area lodging can be!) Next time I'm in the area, I know where I'm staying! :-) WELL DONE!”

“I stayed at this Motel for 3 weeks. It was very clean & convenient right off the freeway. Calm and quiet not like other motels I have been to in the past. Also you just can not beat the price it’s cheaper than the motel 6 across the street which I have also stayed at with the same amenities. Worth the stay”

“Great place to stay in Oakland on a budget. Cassandra is really nice and the proximity to the BART is really nice. Not in a great neighborhood though, so wouldn't recommend going out at night. Felt safe in the house though and the other guests were all friendly. Best part is that Cassandra bakes some times! Today I had peach cobbler tacos. :)”

“It’s a work in progress and a very awesome chill spot along the bay, they’re still getting it all put together but it’s really nice and it’s going to be so much nicer I can’t wait till next summer when I can rent one of the tent cabins.
