“My daughter started at Mi Mundo in January 2014, and we've been thrilled with it! We've tried a couple of other preschools and none hold a candle to this place. What drew us there was the combination of a bilingual school with a strong focus on creative activities and making things. But what has really made the experience so positive has been the thought and energy that the teachers put into everything. Every week there is a theme -- things like the ocean, space, dinosaurs -- and every day there are new and exciting projects that my daughter makes, from a wide variety of materials. The school had just opened when we started, and in a few short months the backyard has filled with life, play structures and fun activities. The kids have been a big part of planting plants and really enjoy the seeing them grow. There is music and dance and in general, a really vibrant atmosphere. There is a nice feeling of community around the school as well. When I come at the end of the day, the kids here are always excited about what they're doing and what they've done - and proud to show me the things that they've made or tell me facts about the planet earth, or animals that swim, or how to say new words in Spanish. We had hope to raise our daughter bilingual and were struggling to do so at home, but now through Mi Mundo she is really picking up a great deal of Spanish, and even more importantly she is more excited about the language. When she started my daughter was having trouble with potty training, which her old school did little about. Here they made a real effort to talk through the issues with me and pretty quickly figured out the right way to approach things with her and the accidents stopped. I highly recommend Mi Mundo!”

“My Son graduated today from Little Flowers Montessori- Birch ( Newark, CA) as a preschooler. With a heavy heart I bid good bye to the wonderful teachers and staff at this school. I enrolled my 2.5 year old boy 3 years back and have never in all these years regretted the move. From the impeccable school facilities to their fabulous activities and the personal attention kids get here is amazing. I am so happy I found this school as a stepping stone for my preschooler. “We had the best teachers! Except Mr. McFarlane - 1975. The Parker 5: Mrs. Davis, Miss M. Lee, Miss D. Lee, (sisters) Mrs. Hall, (Arbuckle) and Miss Clay! Five gorgeous Black women who made a wonderful impact on our lives. I graduated in 1976! Mrs. Hall (Arbuckle) knew the Roberts family the longest. She was there for us when our daddy died in 1969. Four out of 6 of us graduated from Parker. My family was walked to school by The Black Panthers. Parker Elementary School IS my history & home.”

“Wells Middle School overall is an amazing school. The teachers are the best of the best and you can get help if you need it as the school has teachers, tutors, councilors for anything that you need. You need math help, you got it. Oh you want to join an equality club. We have that too. Like I said, so far all the teachers that I've had are kind if you pay attention, don't talk when they are speaking, just basic respect. The only knock this school might have is the homework is demanding, and sometimes it feels like, In 10 years, will I really need to know this? But all in all, its a good school, which is why it has won a golden ribbon award and is one of the top schools in the US. PS: Some of these one star reviews are either trolls or biased. Obviously there are some bad kids in the school but all schools have bullies. If you need help with bullying, that's why we have counselors.”

“A+. This whole facility is wonderful. The pools are great and clean and so nice but the best thing of all is the staff. The lifeguards and the whole staff are so welcoming and friendly.
