I've gone to other beaches in the area and they seem to have more muddy waters. - This lake is gradual so you will go from shallow to deep water gradually and wond have to worry about sudden drop off. - Even on a hot weekend, there is room but you may need to walk a bit. Some cons: - pretty packed on the weekends. - The lake has receded so you have to drive on sand to find a good spot. If you have a FWD car, be careful where you drive as you can get stuck. For the most part, you don't have to worry as long as you stay on the harder parts. - Because the lake has receded, you have to walk around to find a good spot so bring plenty of water for the walk. Overall, it is clean and was a great time.”
